Pascal Ackermann will race Tour of Slovenia

One of the biggest heroes of the first week of Giro d’Italia will race on the Slovenian roads.

BORA – hansgrohe is the first among the World Tour teams that revealed the names of the riders for the upcoming Tour of Slovenia. We’re very pleased to learn that Pascal Ackermann is on the team – he’s one of the best sprinters right now and also current German champion.

German is right now racing on the Giro, and he's doing that with great success. He won two stages and was third two times, which now puts him in the second place in the points competition. He was out of luck in the finish of the 10th stage where he had a nasty crash and people wondered if he'll even go on a bike next morning. He didn't just start the 11th stage, he was even fighting for victory and took third. He proved that he's a fighter and he'll not back down easily.

Pascal took five victories in total in 2019, which puts him on the sixth place among the riders with most victories in the season. On the very top is Slovenian Primož Roglič with nine victories.
