Access to Golte (Saturday, June 7, 2025)

On Saturday, June 7, the final stage of the Tour of Slovenia will take place on Golte, preceded by the recreational race My Tour of Slovenia. For this reason, the road to Golte will be closed, and access will only be possible by bicycle or by cable car (which will have a reduced fare on that day).

Access by Bicycle
Access to Golte by bicycle will be possible almost the entire day, except from 11:30 to 13:00 (due to the recreational race) and from 14:00 to 15:00 (due to the professional race).
These times are approximate and may adjust based on the cyclists’ actual arrival.

Access by Cable Car
The cable car will operate from 7:30 AM onwards on Saturday, departing every hour or more frequently if needed. Ticket prices will be 50% cheaper that day (link to the online shop).

Access by Vehicle
The road to Golte will be closed to all traffic beyond the Weiss inn (formerly known as Vid). Access will only be possible on foot, by bike, or by cable car (see instructions above).

Additionally, from 10:50 to 12:20 and again from 14:00 to 14:20, access to the lower cable car station from the direction of Rečica ob Savinji – Radegunda will be blocked due to the arrival of the cycling caravan.
