30 years since the first edition

Tour of Slovenia is celebrating 30 years since the first edition! In this time the race was organized 28 times with total of 152 stages! Multiply that with 100-200 kilometers per stage and you’ll get extraordinary long voyage across all corners of our beautiful Slovenia.

63 Slovenian cities and destinations was host to start or finish of the stage, plus additional 5 in Croatia (Zagreb), Austria (Beljak/Villach) and Italy (Bazovica/Basovizza, Trbiž/Tarvisio & Trst/Trieste).

Novo mesto holds a record as most visited destination on the race – it total the city was host to 35 starts/finishes. Ljubljana is in second place with 30 stages, third is Nova Gorica with 22 stages.
